Two Belarusian companies cleared by Russia's Rosselkhoznadzor

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) - Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has lifted restrictions on the import of certain products made by two Belarusian companies, BelTA learned from the website of the Russian agency.

The import restrictions have been lifted on dairy products made by the Kletsk subsidiary of Slutsk Cheese Making Plant and cheese made by Svetlogorsk subsidiary of the Kalinkovichi Milk Factory.

Eligible for the import to Russia are products made as from 14 December. The products shall be accompanied by digital veterinary certificates.

Rosselkhoznadzor said it made the decision after perusing materials sent by the Belarusian side, taking into account the measures taken to address the violations and in view of the guarantees issued by the Veterinary and Food Oversight Department of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
