MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) – The closure of the Polish border checkpoint Kuznica Bialostocka has reduced the truck throughput capacity of the Polish border by a third, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
The Belarusian border service attributed problems with truck passage across the European Union's border with Belarus primarily to the failure of Poland and Lithuania to clear the agreed number of trucks. Poland has unilaterally shut down the automobile border checkpoint Kuznica Bialostocka to traffic. The remaining two checkpoints can clear only 60% of the standard number of trucks.
The Belarusian side allows vehicles to enter Belarus without delays.
