Tariffs on oil transportation from Brody station to Mozyr Oil Refinery set

MINSK, 28 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry has set tariffs on oil transportation from Brody to Mozyr Oil Refinery via the city of Mozyr, BelTA has learned.

The tariffs have been set in order to enable oil transportation by pipeline transport from Ukraine, the ministry's press service explained.

The tariff on oil transportation has been set at Br0.87 per tonne.

BelTA reported earlier that tankers bearing oil to be refined in Belarus are expected to arrive in the port of the Ukrainian city of Odessa.

The 40km-long Belarusian section of the pipeline Brody-Mozyr-OAO Mozyr Oil Refinery will be used to transport this oil to the oil refinery.

The Azerbaijani company SOCAR is supposed to deliver about 160,000 tonnes of oil by two tankers. Oil will be delivered to Belarus across Ukraine via the Odessa-Brody pipeline.
