MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) hosted a Cuban delegation led by Deputy Minister of Industries José Gaspar Álvarez Sandoval. The purpose of the visit was to negotiate the supply of BELARUS machinery to Cuba, the MTZ press service told BelTA.
According to MTZ Acting Deputy Director General for Marketing - Marketing Director Andrei Matalytsky, the parties seek to sign a contract to supply MTZ products and to ship the first batch before the meeting of the Belarus-Cuba inter-parliamentary cooperation commission that is scheduled for the end of May.
Minsk Tractor Works is one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machines not only in the CIS but the entire world. Customers are offered over 100 tractor models in more than 200 modifications for all climatic and operational conditions. New models boast great capabilities with regard to the aggregation of agricultural machines of various manufacturers. MTZ designs, makes, and exports wheel tractors and spare parts, licenses their production abroad, organizes and offers aftersales service for sold vehicles, and offers personnel training with regard to operation and maintenance of the vehicles the company makes.
