MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) – A strategic investor is being sought for the enterprise Ekzon-Glyukoza, which is located in Drogichin District, Brest Oblast, BelTA learned from the website of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization (NAIP).
Taking into account an 80% discount on the initial price, the enterprise as a set of properties is valued at Br3.28 million.
The participation of a strategic investor in the project meant to further develop the enterprise will allow upgrading and renewing the plant and equipment, increasing the output capacity, organizing R&D work, and expanding the choice of products the enterprise makes for the food industry and agriculture of Belarus and other countries.
RUPP Ekzon-Glyukoza is Belarus' only manufacturer of starch syrup, glucose and maltose syrups, corn starch, raw and dry corn fodder. In 2000-2010 the enterprise was upgraded to improve the technology for manufacturing high-quality syrup, which is now made using biotechnologies.
