MINSK, 8 May (BelTA) – UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi praised the progress in cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Belarus as he met with Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin in Minsk on 8 May, the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA.
Thani Al Zeyoudi congratulated the prime minister and the people of Belarus on the upcoming Victory Day, noting the significance of the date. "I wish all the best, prosperity and economic growth to the Belarusian people. I am very happy that my visit coincides with the opening of the Minsk International Exhibition Center and the celebration of Victory Day," he emphasized.
The state minister also noted that he intends to visit Belarus more frequently. "We are enjoying the progress in economic and cultural cooperation between our countries, and, of course, looking toward the future. For us, the development of the Northern Waterfront project is strategic. We hope it will find its place in the country's economy. We also eagerly anticipate its broader impact, including advancements in technology, employment opportunities, and overall economic growth," Thani Al Zeyoudi stated.
