MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor will ship a number of vehicles to St. Petersburg, Russian Federation for trials in urban conditions. The possibility was discussed as a St. Petersburg government delegation led by Chairman of the Amenities Provision Committee of St. Petersburg Sergei Petrichenko visited the Belarusian holding company, BelTA has learned.
As part of the visit members of the delegation were made familiar with a broad range of models of Amkodor vehicles, machines, and equipment by touring a permanent exhibition. They had strong interest in municipal vehicles, in particular, the universal vehicle Amkodor W100CM, which boasts a compact size, multifunctionality, and high performance.
The parties discussed prospects of expanding cooperation. An agreement was reached on handing over a number of vehicle models for trials in urban conditions. The possibility of improving the commercially produced mounted tools was discussed in addition to the possibility of making custom tools to match specific tasks of the Amenities Provision Committee of St. Petersburg.
St. Petersburg representatives took a close look at Amkodor’s snow removal vehicles and equipment. They mentioned the strong demand for such vehicles taking into account conditions in the northern region.
The Belarusian holding company Amkodor already sells vehicles, machines, and equipment to St. Petersburg and is interested in further expanding its presence in the region. Amkodor offers reliable and modern solutions for urban infrastructure, the company’s press service underlined.
