Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant intends to step up exports to Kazakhstan

MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Pavel Utyupin met with Zakhar Chaplygin, a representative of Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Kazakhstan.

The parties discussed ways of increasing supplies of dairy products to Kazakhstan and opening a representative office of Slutsk's company in that country. Slutsk Cheese-Making Plant is a full-cycle dairy holding operating five production sites.

The embassy also noted that the Republic of Belarus provides national treatment for goods from the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the Free Trade Zone Agreement of 18 October 2011 and the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of 29 May 2014. In terms of Belarusian exports, Kazakhstan is among the ten main trading partners of the Republic of Belarus and is the third among the CIS countries.
