SVETLOGORSK, 1 August (BelTA) – Innovative products account for over 20% of the total output of the Belarusian company SvetlogorskKhimvolokno. The figure was mentioned at an offsite session of the Board of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, BelTA has learned.
The Belneftekhim Board session is taking place in the city of Svetlogorsk. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Parkhomchik, Belneftekhim Chairman of the Board Andrei Rybakov, and representatives of petrochemical enterprises are taking part in it.
The list of innovative products made by SvetlogorskKhimvolokno includes about 10-15 items. In cost terms they represent 20% of the shipments.
SvetlogorskKhimvolokno representatives noted that the largest reconstruction and retooling were completed in the past 30 years. The implementation of investment projects allowed expanding the arsenal of available technologies, stepping up the processing of the goods the company makes, increasing the added value, making new innovative products, increasing the environmental friendliness by processing the waste, and enabling conditions for steady work of the organization.
SvetlogorskKhimvolokno has clear-cut goals and a structured investment policy for the near future and the long term.
An exhibition has been organized at premises of SvetlogorskKhimvolokno. It reflects the main stages of development of Belneftekhim enterprises over 30 years, major investment projects, and innovative goods.
