MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – The share of agribusiness products in Belarus' export is close to 17%, BelTA learned from the official Telegram channel of the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
According to the source, in January-July 2021 Belarusian companies exported $3.5 billion worth of food and agricultural raw materials, 109.6% as against January-July 2020. Foreign currency earnings increased by $309 million in comparison with January-July 2020. Belarus' foreign trade surplus totaled $1.1 billion.
The structure of export is formed taking into account the external demand on target markets. The export of individual commodities may decrease while the export of other commodities may grow, the ministry said.
