MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – Voronezh Oblast of Russia is interested in expanding cooperation with Belarus in the construction industry. This matter was discussed during the visit of the delegation of the Architecture and Construction Ministry of Belarus to this Russian region, BelTA learned from the website of the Architecture and Construction Ministry.
The Belarusian delegation was led by First Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister Igor Kostyukov. The visit had an extensive program and a broad agenda. The parties discussed a joint pilot project to build a school for 520 students in the settlement of Strelitsa in Semiluky District, the participation of the Belarusian companies of BelengineeringstroyInvest and Construction Trust No. 12 in the construction of preschools and secondary schools in Semiluky District, as well as the use of Belarusian house kits to build homes in Voronezh Oblast.
The Belarusian delegation also visited Semiluky District to inspect the construction site of an educational institution, and met with head of the Semiluky District administration Gennady Shvyrkov.
The visit concluded with the talks between representatives of Belarus' construction industry and Voronezh Oblast deputy head of government Sergei Chestikin.
