MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Ulyanovsk Oblast is interested in creating a Belarusian multibrand trading house. The possibility was discussed as Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Vladimir Naumovich met with representatives of Russia’s Ulyanovsk Oblast led by First Deputy Chairwoman of the Ulyanovsk Oblast government Marina Alekseeva. The delegation’s visit is timed to the upcoming Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry told BelTA.
It was noted during the meeting that cooperation between Ulyanovsk Oblast and Belarus had been invigorated in various cooperation avenues, including within the framework of joint projects of enterprises. Apart from that, Marina Alekseeva expressed interest in setting up a Belarusian multibrand trading house in Ulyanovsk Oblast.
In turn, Vladimir Naumovich mentioned the incentives Belarus offers to encourage the development of private business and invited members of the delegation to visit the small business incubator Law and Order, which successfully operates in Vitebsk.
