MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) – Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov visited OAO BelAZ, the management company of BelAZ Holding, BelTA has learned.
The delegation was accompanied by Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich and Director General of OAO BelAZ, the management company of BelAZ Holding Sergei Lesin and others.
BelAZ is the world's leading manufacturer of haul trucks and transport equipment for mining industry and civil engineering industry. BelAZ accounts for some 30% of the global market of haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity. The company makes the world’s largest haul truck with the carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.

Sergei Lesin spoke about the development of the holding company and the line-up. Denis Manturov toured the museum of the enterprise and one of the production workshops. He left an entry in the Book of Distinguished Guests.
The delegation saw the line-up of mining trucks, including BelAZ-75304 with an engine from a plant in Kolomna. Almost all of its components are Belarusian- or Russian-made. The 16-36DG engine was developed by Kolomna designers according to the BelAZ technical brief. Its is powerful and economical. The four-stroke eight-cylinder diesel engine of 2,400hp is not inferior to imported analogues in terms of the main technical characteristics.
