Russia's Khabarovsk Territory interested in Belarus' IT solutions

MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – Russia's Khabarovsk Territory is interested in Belarusian IT developments. This matter was discussed during a visit of the Khabarovsk Territory delegation to the High-Tech Park, BelTA learned from the HTP.

Deputy Director of the Secretariat of the HTP Supervisory Board Kirill Zalessky spoke in detail about the HTP's role in Belarus' economy and the park's success story. “Over the past 20 years, the HTP has become one of  key symbols of the impressive growth of the IT and innovation sector in Belarus,” he said.

Kirill Zalessky told the guests about legal regulation, tax administration and the main business models used in the HTP, as well as advanced solutions of resident companies, including those that can be of interest on the Russian market.

Acting First Deputy Chairman of the Khabarovsk Territory Government Sergei Abramov acknowledged the achievements of the HTP resident companies and showed interest in building contacts, studying Belarus' expertise and knowledge in the IT sector, as well as compiling a list of joint initiatives. “We are interested in building partnerships. Our task is to ensure effective management of business processes in the Far East and in Khabarovsk Territory and to create a comfortable digital environment for this,” he said.

Discussing specific cooperation prospects, the Khabarovsk Territory delegation emphasized the need for IT solutions for the mining industry, the transport sector, as well as solutions based on artificial intelligence and BIM technologies [Building Information Model].

The visit was another step to strengthen interregional cooperation in the field of high technologies, the HTP noted.
