MINSK, 17June (BelTA) - The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor lifted restrictions on the import of products made by two Belarusian enterprises - Prodexim and Druzhba Poultry Factory, BelTA learned from the website of the Russian agency.
This decision was made following the telephone talks between Ivan Smilgin, Belarus' Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister, Director of the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision, and Head of Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert. According to Rosselkhoznadzor, the parties discussed current cooperation, including the supply of Belarusian products to Russia.
"As a result of the negotiations, taking into account the guarantees of the Belarusian side, the decision was made to lift the temporary restrictions on the import of livestock products made by two Belarusian enterprises - Prodexim and Druzhba Poultry Factory as from 17 June,” the the Russian agency said.
