MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – In January-October 2021, retail trade totaled Br48.9 billion, up 1% year-on-year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
Wholesale trade amounted to Br105.6 billion, up 5.4% as against January-October 2020.
Over this period, one-day per capita retail sales were estimated at Br17.1, vs. Br15.3 in January-October 2020.
Retail trade outlets accounted for 92.6% of retail trade. In January-October 2021, they reported Br45.2 billion in retail trade, up 1.8% over the same period last year in comparable prices.
In January-October 2021, the turnover of the public catering industry totaled Br2.6 billion, up 14.3% over the same period last year in comparable prices.
