MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – In January-June 2025 retail trade in Belarus totaled Br48.2 billion, up by 9% from the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br29.2 as against Br25.8 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 95.6% of retail sales. In January-June 2025 they reported Br46.1 billion in retail sale volume, up by 9.7% as against January-June 2024.
In January-June 2025 wholesale trade amounted to Br86.5 billion, or 94.6% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-June 2025 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br3.4 billion or up by 4.9% as against the same stretch a year ago.
