
MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) - In January-February 2025 retail trade totaled Br14.3 billion, up by 10% as against the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br26.5 as against Br22.5 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 95.4% of retail sales. In January-February 2025 they reported Br13.7 billion in retail sales, or up by 10.9% as against January-February 2024.
In January-February 2025 wholesale turnover amounted to Br27.7 billion, or up by 8.2% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-February 2025 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br999.1 million or up by 3.6% as against the same stretch a year ago.
