
MINSK, 16 June (BelTA) - In January-May 2025 retail trade totaled Br39.7 billion, up 9.3% as against the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br28.8 as against Br25.3 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 95.6% of retail sales. In January-May 2025 they reported Br37.9 billion in retail sale volume, or up 10.1% as against January-May 2024.
In January-May 2025 wholesale turnover amounted to Br72.2 billion, or 95.3% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-May 2025 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br2.8 billion or up 5% as against the same stretch a year ago.
