MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) – In January-October 2024 retail trade totaled Br73 billion, 111.8% as against the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br26.1 as against Br22.5 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 94.9% of retail sales. In January-October 2024 they reported Br69.3 billion in retail sale volume, or up 12.8% as against January-October 2023.
In January-October 2024 wholesale turnover amounted to Br150.8 billion, or up 4.6% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-October 2024 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br5 billion or up 11% as against the same stretch a year ago.
