
MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) – In January-March 2025 retail trade totaled Br22.9 billion, up 10.8% as against the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br27.9 as against Br23.7 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 95.6% of retail sales. In January-March 2025 they reported Br21.9 billion in retail sale volume, or up 11.6% as against January-March 2024.
In January-March 2025 wholesale turnover amounted to Br42.9 billion, or 96.9% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-March 2025 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br1.6 billion or up 5.5% as against the same stretch a year ago.
