MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – In January-April 2025 retail trade totaled Br31 billion, up 10% as against the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br28.3 as against Br24.1 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 95.6% of retail sales. In January-April 2025 they reported Br29.7 billion in retail sale volume, or up 10.8% as against January-April 2024.
In January-April 2025 wholesale turnover amounted to Br58 billion, or 96.6% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-April 2025 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br2.1 billion or up 4.8% as against the same stretch a year ago.
