MINSK, 17 January (BelTA) – In 2019 retail trade in Belarus totaled Br49.3 billion, 104.2% as against 2018 in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
In 2019 wholesale trade amounted to Br95.4 billion, 95.8% as against the previous year in comparable prices.
One-day retail trade volume per capita came at Br14.2 in 2019 while in 2018 this figure stood at Br13.
Retail turnover of trading companies, which accounted for 90.6% of the country's retail trade volume, totaled Br44.7 billion in 2019, 105.8% as against 2018 in comparable prices.
In 2019 the trade turnover of the public catering industry totaled Br2.9 billion, 106.4% as against the previous year in comparable prices.
