MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) – In January-June 2022 retail trade totaled Br32 billion, 99.6% in the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
In January-June wholesale trade amounted to Br65.6 billion, 85.4% year-on-year.
Daily retail trade per capita totaled Br19, up from Br16.6 in H1 2021.
Retail organizations accounted for 93.2% of Belarus' retail trade turnover. Their retail trade turnover totaled Br29.8 billion in January-June 2022, 100.4% as against January-June 2021.
In January-June 2022 the turnover of the public catering industry totaled Br1.9 billion, 101.7% as against January-June 2021 in comparable prices.
