MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) – In January-September 2025 retail trade in Belarus totaled Br75.2 billion, up by 8.2% from the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br30.2 as against Br26.8 in the same period a year prior.
Retail outlets accounted for 95.6% of retail sales. In January-September 2025 they reported Br71.9 billion in retail sale volume, up by 8.8% as against January-August 2024.
In January-September 2025 wholesale trade amounted to Br132.3 billion, or 93.6% year-on-year in comparable prices.
In January-September 2025 trade by public catering outlets totaled Br5.4 billion or up by 5.6% as against the same stretch a year ago.
