MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Delegations from approximately 40 regions of the Russian Federation are expected to attend the Innoprom Belarus expo, BelTA learned from Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Utyupin at a press conference.
The period from 29 September to 1 October in Minsk will be full of events. Alongside the international Innoprom Belarus exhibition, Minsk will play host to sessions of the CIS Heads of Government Council and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. “We expect the leaders of governments from CIS countries to attend, nearly all of them will come in person,” Pavel Utyupin noted.
“In addition, we expect a large number of regional representatives, primarily from the Russian Federation. Delegates from around 40 Russian regions will attend the exhibition, with more than half of them participating directly. About 20 delegations will be represented by regional leaders,” he said.
According to the deputy minister, around ten working group meetings are planned, focused on cooperation with Russian regions and business partnerships.
