MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Viktor Karankevich went to Minsk Bearing Plant (MPZ) and was made familiar with progress of reconstruction of the company’s manufacturing wing, the press service of the Belarusian Industry Ministry told BelTA.
The deputy prime minister was accompanied by Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov, Head of the administration of Minsk’s Zavodskoi District Vladimir Shibeko, and Director General of OAO BMZ, managing company of the holding company BMC Dmitry Korchik. Matters concerning the realization of investment projects for retooling the existing manufacturing facility were discussed.
Minsk Bearing Plant Director Vitaly Martynov shared information about the pace and the kinds of the operations being implemented at the site. Samples of the company’s products were presented. Prospects of mastering the production of new types of bearings were reviewed.
