MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) – In January-May 2021, the real disposable money income of Belarusians went up by 3.5% over the same period of 2020, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
Salaries accounted for 64.7% of the total money income, revenues from doing business and other gainful activities – for 7.7%, transfers to the population (pensions, welfare benefits, scholarships, etc.) – for 23.2%, and property income and other kinds of revenue – for 4.4%.
The real disposable money income of individuals is calculated as monetary income minus taxes, duties, and fees adjusted bearing in mind the index of consumer prices for goods and services.
