MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Moscow is against trade wars and restrictions, Russian President Vladimir Putin said as he met with heads of foreign news agencies on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), TASS informs.
Russia is in favor of a fair world order and compliance with global trade rules, Vladimir Putin said. The Russian leader also believes that forecasts of a slowdown in global trade due to conflicts and trade wars are justified.

According to Vladimir Putin, the goal of the current SPIEF is to jointly find a way to overcome global problems. The president added that more and more Russian partners were coming to the forum.
