MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to export potash fertilizers through any ports, on the most convenient routes, Press Secretary of the Belarusian president Natalya Eismont told TASS, BelTA has learned.
“As for potash, we are ready to export through any ports. Economics and logistics will determine the route – we will ship wherever it makes the most sense,” Natalya Eismont said.
As BelTA reported earlier, U.S. Special Envoy for Belarus John Coale told the media that the United States is lifting sanctions on Belarusian potash. “In accordance with President Trump’s instructions, the United States is lifting sanctions on [Belarusian] potash. I believe this is a very good step by the United States for Belarus. We are lifting them now.”
