MOSCOW, 20 March (BelTA) - The business program for the upcoming Eurasian Economic Forum has been largely determined, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
"The meeting of the Program Committee for the Eurasian Economic Forum 2025 largely determined the concept and structural architecture of the forum. The meeting was presided over by Maksim Yermolovich, member of the Board (Minister) for Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the EEC. The Eurasian Economic Forum, the main business event of the Eurasian Economic Union, will take place in Minsk in June," the press service noted.
"The Program Committee has largely decided on the content of the panel sessions and roundtable discussions within the six main blocks of the forum. The topics of certain events and their conceptual framework are being finalized. We are also finalizing the forum's architecture. Close cooperation between the EEC specialized units and representatives of the union's member states is necessary to complete this work," Maksim Yermolovich explained.
The business program is expected to be approved by the Organizing Committee of the Eurasian Economic Forum led by Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the EEC Council Vladimir Karanik.
The upcoming forum will focus on the strategy of Eurasian integration, its results and prospects. The forum is due in Minsk as Belarus chairs the Eurasian Economic Union in 2025. The forum will coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of EAEU heads of state.
Attending the Eurasian Economic Forum 2025 will be leaders of large, medium-sized and small businesses of EAEU members and third countries, officials and representatives of state authorities of EAEU countries, leaders and government members of third countries and representatives of international organizations interested in developing cooperation with the EAEU.
