MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) – Poland will give 700 additional permits for international freight transportation for one's own needs to Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry told BelTA.
Thanks to efforts of the Transport and Communications Ministry an agreement has been reached that Poland will issue 700 bilateral and transit permits for international freight transportation by road to Belarus. The permits will come with a restriction “purely for transportation for one's own needs,” the ministry's press service said.
The Transport and Communications Ministry explained that to use the permit, the sender and the transporter have to be one and the same person for the freight to be transported from Belarus. The fact has to be confirmed by the relevant entries in the CMR consignment note. For outgoing freight the transporter and the receiver have to be one and the same person.
