MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) - There are a lot of signals of the West's readiness to work with us, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said in an interview with ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“In H1 2022 our export to the so-called unfriendly countries amounted to $3.5 billion,” said Roman Golovchenko. According to him, Belarus' total export makes up $17 billion.
“I think the situation will finally level off. There are a lot of signals of the West's readiness to work with us. You see that sanctions against Russia and Belarus ricochet against those who impose them. Europe is preparing for an extremely harsh winter. They are thinking whether to refuse to use gas or not, recommending to wash less, not to turn on air conditioners and so on. Belarusian fuel wood, pellets, the so-called euro-pellets would help to solve the problem for the population. I think we will see certain changes very soon,” the prime minister said.
