MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) - The most important task for the Belarusian government is to ensure a balanced economic growth, Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said as he addressed the Council of Ministers, BelTA learned.
Previously, Aleksandr Turchin worked as head of the Council of Ministers Office (2016-2018) and first Deputy Prime Minister (2018-2019), so he described his appointment as the re-union. “I remember this hall, I see many familiar faces, both among the members of the government and members of the Council of Ministers Office. We will be moving forward,” he noted. “The goals and objectives for the government remain the same. The most important thing is growth, and not just growth, but balanced economic growth. Achievement of some indicators should not be at the expense of others. Finding this right mechanism, when all macroeconomic parameters are balanced, is a very important and often difficult task to achieve. But we must do it by joint efforts.”
