PM names strategic priorities for Belarusian government in 2025-2029

MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin revealed the strategic priorities for the Belarusian government in 2025-2029 as he delivered a report in the House of Representatives in Minsk on 7 May, BelTA learned. 

The prime minister presented the government action program for 2025-2029 in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly on 7 May. 

“The preparation of the program was based on the fundamental principles of saving resources and their efficient use; systemic, prompt and transparent decision-making; initiative and personal responsibility of government members,” the prime minister said. 

The strategic priorities for the Belarusian government in 2025-2029 are the improvement of welfare and standards of living of people. “All instruments of economic policy will be aimed at achieving these priorities. Each section of the program contains goals, objectives and mechanisms for their implementation. It envisages digitized indicators of key parameters and members of the government responsible for implementation. All the tasks are balanced by sources,” Aleksandr Turchin emphasized. 

“The program includes three sets of measures: institutional, those related to the accomplishment of the priorities of the five-year plan, and sectoral ones,” the prime minister added.
