PM: Belarus, Russia’s Bashkortostan implement all agreements

MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) - It is important that all our agreements with Bashkortostan are implemented in full, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at the opening ceremony of the Belarus-Bashkortostan Business Forum, BelTA has learned.

“Over 15 visits of Bashkortostan delegations to Belarus at various levels and 25 visits of Belarusian representatives to Bashkortostan took place in 2023. More than 60 documents, agreements, memorandums, treaties and action plans have been signed. It is especially important and encouraging that these agreements do not remain on paper. A number of such landmark projects are already being implemented in our countries. A plant to produce grain drying complexes AMKODOR-Agidel opened in autumn 2023. A project has been launched to build the AMKODOR-Alga plant for the production of special-purpose and earthmoving equipment. Plans are in place to set up a large-scale production and service center for AMKODOR this year to ensure prompt aftersales services,” Roman Golovchenko said.

Another landmark project is the joint production of trolleybuses, electric buses at the Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant using MAZ machinery components under the Gorozhanin brand. “We see prospects for serious development of this site and even greater localization of Belarusian machinery production in Bashkortostan. I am sure that there will be demand for these products in all regions of the Russian Federation,” the prime minister said.
