
MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to implement mutually beneficial projects with Libya in manufacturing, agriculture and other sectors of the economy, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said as he met with Field Marshal and Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army Khalifa Belqasim Haftar, BelTA has learned.

“I welcome you to Belarus. We are grateful that, despite the difficult situation in your region, you have found time to visit our country. Belarus and Libya have been friends and partners for many years. Today, a very important, one might say, historical meeting has taken place between you and the president of our country. The government of Belarus is determined to fulfill all the agreements that were reached during your meeting with the head of state. We deem it necessary to establish and expand interaction in various areas of the economy, to implement mutually beneficial projects in the economic sector,” said Roman Golovchenko.
