MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – The Eurasian Economic Union should come up with mechanisms to deal with risks and challenges the world economy has been increasingly facing in recent months, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, BelTA has learned.
“In our opinion, it is advisable to consider pilot projects and joint events to expand and deepen trade and economic relations and to build up cooperation,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
Nikol Pashinyan drew attention to the great work done by the Eurasian Economic Commission to remove obstacles in the domestic market. At the same time, the root causes of these obstacles cannot be ignored, the prime minister is convinced. “I am sure that concerted action for economic development and joint efforts to enter the markets of third countries will be highly instrumental in removing obstacles in the domestic market. Reinvigorated industrial cooperation, launch of joint ventures and innovative projects, as well as scientific and technical cooperation will make it possible to build the bridge between research and production,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
According to him, it is important to continue working to maintain the macroeconomic stability of the EAEU member states.
