MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – A package of documents on the promotion of entrepreneurship in Belarus has almost been finalized, Director of the Entrepreneurship Department at the Belarusian Economy Ministry Piotr Arushanyants told the media on 6 September, BelTA has learned.
“The package of documents is almost ready. The documents will be adopted and will enter into force by 1 October, in accordance with the president's instructions,” Piotr Arushanyants said.
The key document of this package is a decree on the promotion of entrepreneurship. “The decree has been discussed in public and has received the support of business community. Virtually every provision and every paragraph have been discussed separately. There have been many debates, but we have eventually managed to come to the best possible common point,” the official noted.
The Economy Ministry has drafted several documents in the package. “Among them is a decree on licensing that envisages a considerable reduction of the number of licensable activities, and a document updating and strengthening the functions of the Belarusian Entrepreneurship Development Council,” Piotr Arushanyants added.
