MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Distant countries remain the main sales markets for Orsha Linen Mill. They account for more than 63% of the company's export, Head of the Marketing Department at Orsha Linen Mill Andrei Lukashev told BelTA.
Orsha Linen Mill is Belarus' largest export-oriented textile producer, the only full-cycle processor of long and short flax fiber in the country. The company sources its raw materials mostly from domestic flax mills as part of the public procurement order.
“Last year our export grew by 34.7% over 2023. We shipped our products to 36 countries. The main sales markets for the enterprise are far-arc countries, they account for over 63% of our export. By the way, in 2024 we managed to enter new sales markets - Kuwait and Pakistan,” Andrei Lukashev informed.
The most popular export items are household fabrics (62%) and garments (12%).
