IVATSEVICHI, 4 March (BelTA) - Ivatsevichdrev shows a good example of efficient modernization in the Belarusian woodworking sector, Belarus President's Aide - Inspector for Brest Oblast Valery Vakulchik said as he met with the staff of the enterprise on 4 March, BelTA has learned.
“Ivatsevichdrev is quite a successful enterprise. It indeed is a good example of efficient modernization in the country's woodworking sector, effectively invested resources in the industry. The company's staff have successfully coped with the task and laid a good foundation for the future of the enterprise. It shows that the government has made the right decision to sell high value-added products and improve the production. Today we have a good enterprise that we can be proud of. Based on these considerations the decision was made to set up the holding company at Ivatsevichdrev,” Valery Vakulchik said.
In 2022 Ivatsevichdrev will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Valery Vakulchik stressed that the company is approaching the anniversary with good results and wished the team success in the implementation of production plans.
The Belarus President's aide also held a meeting with residents. One of the issues raised during the meeting was a delay in the project to construct sewage networks in a new residential area. Valery Vakulchik took the issue under control. “We have a socially-oriented state. The authorities direct their main efforts to protect the interests of an ordinary Belarusian worker. This is the main figure in our society. Such meetings help learn about any existing problems and solve them at the level of the enterprise, district, region, government, and maybe at the level of the head of state,” he said.
There was also a request for employment assistance at the meeting.
