MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – The role of discipline and responsibility in economic performance was highlighted by economic analyst Georgy Grits in his interview to the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.
“Now, perhaps, there is a lack of understanding as to what the head of state wants, what the prime minister wants. They want just order, responsibility, understanding that every executive should work hard and be an example to follow for their teams. In other words, it is important to maintain discipline in production, stick to technology, fulfill contracts, show good performance. Today it is not an option but a necessity,” said Georgy Grits.
He stressed that we are not talking about a mobilization economy. “Yet, such an economic model should receive credit, as it helped the Soviet Union to rebuild its economy after the war and to become a heavyweight on the international arena,” the economic analyst added.
