MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – In January - September 2021 Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) grew its export by 33.3% year-on-year, MTZ Director General Vitaly Vovk said at the meeting of the company's staff with Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev, BelTA learned from the MTZ press service.
Sales to non-CIS countries increased by 26.7%, to Russia by 12.7%, to other CIS countries by 71.9%. In total, the export was estimated at $480 million.
In this period, the foreign trade surplus exceeded $320 million. The return on sales was 13.6%.
MTZ (Minsk Tractor Works) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of agricultural machines. Apart from the main factory the MTZ holding company comprises ten enterprises. More than 20 assembly factories were set up abroad. MTZ machinery is operated in over 60 countries of the world.
