GOMEL, 31 January (BelTA) – OAO Mozyr Oil Refinery is ready to process oil from alternative sources, BelTA learned from the company's Director General Vitaly Pavlov during a media tour to the refinery on 31 January.
According to Vitaly Pavlov, the oil refinery processed different kinds of oil in the past. “We have processed oil from Azerbaijan, Iran, and Venezuela,” he specified.
“At present the enterprise has a sufficient amount of raw materials and components. We are working in an optimal technological mode. We make a full range of products that match international quality standards,” the executive stressed. At the same time ways to obtain oil from various directions are under consideration.
Commissioned in 1975, Mozyr Oil Refinery was converted into a public joint-stock company (OAO) in 1994. The company specializes in processing oil, making and selling oil products. Mozyr Oil Refinery products are exported to more than 20 countries across the globe.
