MINSK, 21 August (BelTA) – Belarusian dairy products such as cheeses, cottage cheese, and butter are traditionally in demand in the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of Belarus’ National Statistics Committee Timofei Zhigarev said at a press conference in Minsk on 21 August, BelTA learned.
"Cars and trucks, tractors, spare parts for them sell well too. So do TV sets, liquid crystal devices, lasers, ferrous metal products," he said.
The deputy chairman also noted that foreign trade in goods with Russia was on a growth track in H1 2024. Trade surged by 6.4% year-on-year and totaled $25.1 billion.
