
MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) - Moscow will host the second meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Council on 21 February. It will be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko of Belarus, BelTA learned from the government press service.
The meeting is set to discuss more than 20 matters, including the strategic directions for the development of Eurasian economic integration in 2025, harmonization of the legislation of the EAEU states in securities market regulation, the status of a pilot project to introduce a traceability mechanism for goods imported into the customs territory of the EAEU.
The EEC Council is scheduled to address matters related to the development of a common market for medicines, labeling of certain types of goods, and the development of e-commerce.
The meeting is also expected to focus on the preparation of an action plan for the implementation of the declaration on the further development of economic processes within the EAEU until 2030 and for the period until 2045, the so-called Eurasian Economic Path.
