
MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – The amount of funding available to the government program Roads of Belarus in 2021-2025 will be increased according to the Council of Ministers’ resolution of 30 July 2025 that has been officially published by the national legislation registry website, BelTA has learned.
Initially the funding available to the government program in 2021-2025 was set to Br9,891,808,009.7. Now the sum has been increased to Br11,438,092,453.7. Over Br9.4 billion will be allocated by the republican budget for this purpose.
Plans have been made to perform routine repairs on 5,640km of republican motorways and 7,000 running meters of bridges and overpasses in 2021-2025 in addition to structural repairs of 300km of motorways and 3,850 running meters of bridges and overpasses. The amount of roadwork in 2025 will total 22% of the 6,942km of sections of republican motorways that require repairs as a result of last year’s road diagnostics.
The Council of Ministers resolution comes into force as of the official publication date.
