MOSCOW, 11 October (BelTA) – Minsk will host a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia to discuss agricultural issues on 18 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the assembly.
"The participants of the session will discuss the preparation of the Union State programs titled ‘Development of intelligent technologies and robotic technical means for horticulture industry’ (‘Union State Horticulture’) and ‘Development of digital technologies and a set of automated machines and equipment for dairy farming’ (‘Union State Intelligent Farm’)", the press service noted. The officials will also discuss the creation of a breeding and genetic center to work with egg breeds of hens.
The session will also bring together representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Russian Agriculture Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Russian Science and Higher Education Ministry.
