MINSK, 2 September (BelTA) – A Belarusian-Italian business forum on green economy will take place in Minsk on 8 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
The forum is designed to advance the latest developments of the industry in green economy with the focus on waste management, pyrolysis, renewable energy sources (solar and wind farms), energy efficiency in civil and industrial construction, agriculture, use of biomass, and smart cities.
Participants of the business forum will consider prospects of stepping up cooperation in green economy and other sectors and ways to use Italian investment. After the plenary session of the forum, representatives of the Belarusian and Italian business communities will hold talks.
The forum is organized by the Italian embassy in Belarus, the Italian Government Agency for the Promotion Abroad and the Internationalization of the Italian Companies (ICE), the BelCCI, and Confindustria Belarus (the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in Belarus). Participation in the event is free. Participants should fill in an online registration form at the BelCCI website.
The business forum will be held in the Football Arena exhibition center (20/2 Pobeditelei Avenue, Minsk).
