MOSCOW, 20 August (BelTA) – Work is underway to organize an additional meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk in October, Iya Malkina, Aide to the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), told a press briefing on 20 August, BelTA has learned.
"The venue of the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council has already been set," Iya Malkina said. “The heads of government agreed to meet in Yerevan at the end of October. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinin has already extended a corresponding invitation. An additional meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Council in the city of Minsk in October this year is in the pipeline.|
The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is the highest supranational body of the Eurasian Economic Union. It comprises the heads of state or government of the Eurasian Economic Union member states.
